Free Online Class at Winslow Art Center 4/10

I’ll be offering a free one-hour class online at Winslow Art Center this Friday, April 10 at 12:45. You can register at this link. I’ll discuss and demonstrate a few of the elements that convey a sense of place: skies, trees, understory plants and rock formations, and all of those involve both form and palette. I hope to talk about how I use photos and sketches to develop larger studio paintings, and there’s one I plan to show you—a scene from the Chiricahua Mountains in southeast Arizona.
