New Birds Calendar from Pomegranate

The 2027 Birds wall calendar is now available from Pomegranate Communications. The black oystercatcher is one of my favorite birds—I saw one last week on Haystack Rock in Cannon Beach. I was so happy to see that the sea stars have made a good comeback. The rocky tidepools were teeming with them.
