Two Views of Half Dome May 5 Online Class

In the May 5th class I am teaching for Winslow Art Center I will share ideas for palettes that work for different times of year and different light conditions. Visiting Yosemite National Park at different times of year gave me the opportunity to try various hues. Half Dome is the perfect subject—a focal point with distinctive shadows. The class time is 10am to 1pm Pacific Daylight time; if you are busy that day,, the recording is available after the class. I’ll be working on and/or discussing several sketches and paintings during the class, including Sedona, the Grand Canyon and Yosemite.
